SUITING

A Farage suit has been painstakingly crafted using the finest fabrics from around the world using traditional tailoring techniques. Treating your suit with the care it deserves will ensure it gives you the rewards you deserve. These simple tips will extend the life and maintain the quality of your Farage suit:

• Rest your suits for at least 24 hours between wearing. Resting allows the creases to drop out and the fabric to recover.
• If your suit needs freshening hang it outside away from direct sunlight. The flow of fresh air will naturally remove all traces of unpleasant odours.
• Only dry clean your suit when it is soiled. Always use the very best dry cleaner. If your suit is wrinkled but not soiled request your dry cleaner to press only.
• We suggest you use a good natural bristle clothes brush to remove any dust or lint. Use long sweeping movements or short flicks, always in the same direction. Never use circular or scrubbing motions.
• Should your suit be subjected to a stain resist the temptation to clean it yourself. Stained garments should be taken to the dry cleaner as quickly as possible and be sure to provide them with as much information as possible on the nature of the stain to ensure a more efficient removal.
• Keeping your suit properly hung is essential for well-tailored clothing. Farage provides you with a shaped hanger that ensures your jacket hangs correctly when not being worn.
• Suits need fresh, dry air so avoid confining your suits to a tight space.

SHIRTS

Farage shirting is crafted in Australia from the finest Egyptian cottons and Italian silks. Distinguished by the details each shirt is cut by a master shirtmaker and each collar turned by hand. To ensure your Farage shirt looks perfect every time we recommend the following:

• Always ensure you check the care label inside your Farage shirt. Many are washable but some such as silks may be labelled 'dry clean only'.
• We recommend cold hand washing your Farage cotton shirts, keep dark and light colours separate.
• Use a mild detergent and never use harsh stain removers or bleach on your Farage cotton shirts.
• Remove collar stiffeners, silk knots and cufflinks prior to washing.
• Do not tumble dry, spin or wring your shirts as this causes harmful abrasion on your shirt.
• Hanging your shirts immediately after washing will reduce the amount of creasing and make pressing easier.
• Always iron your Farage cotton shirt whilst still damp using a hot iron with a steam setting.
• When pressing collars and cuffs always press the underside of the collar and cuffs. Iron away from the points and outer edge to avoid damaging the inner fusing.

TIES

Farage ties are hand crafted using the finest Italian silks. By nature ties are delicate therefore handling and care of your Farage tie requires extra attention. To ensure your Farage tie remains in perfect condition we suggest:

• Always store your ties unknotted. We recommend gently rolling them to reduce crease and restore the natural bounce.
• Do not iron your tie, it is best to allow the creases to drop naturally.
• Avoid exposing your ties to moisture.
• Never wash your tie.
• If you have a stain on your tie we recommend using a small amount of a reputable stain removing product and gently blot the stain with a paper towel. Never rub your tie as this will damage the fabric.
• Ties do not need regular cleaning. If absolutely necessary your tie can be dry cleaned
• Avoid abrasive surfaces or items such as jewellery coming in contact with your tie as this may cause snagging or pulling

CUFFLINK

Farage cufflinks are hand crafted in England and Italy from a high quality rhodium plating, this ensures a high quality finish and unlike silver will not tarnish over time. To restore lustre gently rub a soft cotton or jewellery cleaning cloth over the cufflink. Avoid abrasive surfaces or contact with harsh chemicals as this may damage your cufflinks. We recommend your cufflinks be stored in the Farage cufflink box, minimising exposure to sunlight and air.
