Farage is the result of the inspiration of two creative entrepreneurs, Joe and Katy Farage. They both felt that there was a gap in the Australian fashion landscape for cutting edge tailoring using the finest European fabrics and styling.
In 1998 against many odds 'Farage' was created. They followed a belief in sophisticated style based on a heritage of quality and craftsmanship. The foundation of the business is quality tailoring. To ensure this, their first move was to set-up a manufacturing facility in Australia despite the pressures to go off-shore for cheaper solutions. By sticking to their beliefs they established local manufacturers creating their own quality merchandise and also supporting a successful wholesale business supplying other vendors with the same eye for quality and detail.

Joe and Katy’s design inspiration comes from many sources; music, design, architecture and travel. Joe particularly notes "the Parisian" lifestyle as a key source of inspiration for their brand. The result is quality tailored style for men and women with a strong focus on shirting and suiting.
Farage has 5 retail stores across NSW and Victoria with not too distant plans to continue the expansion of their successful business nationally.
